Our Mission

Our goal is to help independent studios complete their projects and enter them into the market by assisting with distribution, marketing, and development.

Our History

When we were founded in 2015, we started as an independent game developer.

Our team was composed of 6 members, each specializing in areas of game design, code composition, visual art, and music. Our goal was to create fun and accessible games that are easy to understand, challenging, have depth of content, and are rich in expression.

The dev team operates primarily from remote locations, but the company as a whole maintains an Appalachian identity and as part of the Huntington, WV community. Lasso Games was a co-founder of the Appalachian Game Creators Association, a non-profit dedicated to community outreach and igniting interest in game development in the Appalachian Region of the USA, which ceased operations in 2018.

Our development team has been involved in several contract projects for other companies. Projects have included artwork, development/programming, music composition, and story writing.

After releasing MiniLaw: Ministry of Law for PC on Steam in January of 2020, the team shifted focus toward game publishing and assisting with other indie dev studios throughout the industry.
